Josh Gruenberg represented Juana Aguilar, a 62 year old house keeper who was hit head on by a drunk driver in Rancho Santa Fe. Ms. Aguilar was life-flighted to the emergency room and spent five months in the hospital. Tragically, she developed gangrene and her doctors were forced to take off her right leg just below the knee. Ms. Aguilar also sustained several broken bones and serious lacerations to most of her body.
The case involved three other severely injured individuals who all maintained claims against the drunk driver. Unfortunately, there was insufficient insurance to fully cover all victims. After Mediator, Andy Albert held meetings with the parties over the course of several days, Attorney Gruenberg secured a settlement of $2,700,000 for Ms. Aguilar.
